Are these games considered cannon with their elvish? I don't know if it is supposed to be sindarin or quenya, and it is too late for me to want to turn it on (I'll be up wa too late). But the word i remember seeing is cannas being a word for bravery, but the dictionary here only lists that word as the abstract of shape, shaping. I might need to go through and add to my dictionary.
No, not at all. It's been a couple of years since I played them but the poems, the Ithildin, were in Sindarin. Neo-Sindarin that is, translated by David Salo for the devs. That word 'cannas' would have come from Cann/Cand = Bold, the -as on the end is the abstract suffix making 'boldness, bravery' from 'bold'. It does unfortunately share a homonym with 'shape' though.
Amy: Hello! I am confused about the verb nautha-. In lesson 17 the dialog at the start has “nauthog” for “you think”, then “semin” for “I think”. Is nautha- one of the irregular verbs? I can’t find anything else it in the lessons or dictionary. Thank you!

Xandarien: Suilad! There have been two verbs used for 'to think', I apologise for the confusion. There's Nautha- 'to conceive an idea, think' and Sam- 'to think. Sam- should have been removed everywhere as it was a reconstruction that we don't need. I'll change that.
